####################################### CSD3 Full Maintenance 30th January 2025 ####################################### .. important:: * The full maintenance scheduled for 30th January 2025 has taken place. * Please note that we are currently operating under conditions of reduced power and the service desk can do nothing about this. ************** Current Status ************** * Full maintenance is over and partial normal service on CSD3 and Dawn has been restored. Due to unresolved data centre issues we are operating at reduced capacity as of Thursday evening (30th Jan). ********** Key Points ********** Thursday 30th January 2025 ========================== **Updated 20:00 30th January.** * Maintenance commenced on schedule at 07:30. * 08:00-11:00 electrical sequencing work and transformer maintenance - Estates have rescheduled this work after encountering a fault which left the data hall with reduced power capacity. * 08:00 Network reconfiguration - The network reconfiguration encountered an unexpected issue and has been rolled back. This has now been postponed and will be rescheduled as a full maintenance on SRCP and Arcus. Windows SRCP services were unfortunately disrupted but have been recovered. * 11:00-19:00 Firmware, Lustre and Slurm updates have been performed successfully. * 20:00 reduced CSD3/Dawin and normal RDS/RCS service have been restored. Please note that we are severely limited at the moment by available power.
